Description
Pioneer Flour Mills once produced an anniversary plate each year as a gift for customers and suppliers. This year’s ornament is a reproduction of the 1925 anniversary plate. The Irish Red and White Setter in the scene has pointed and “locked up” for the hunter to walk in for the flush. The Irish Red and White Setter has been a distinct breed since 1775. While popular during the 1800s, it was almost extinct by 1900. In the 1920s, a small group of breeders revived the breed.
